Thank you for the opportunity to comment on the draft EIS for this extremely important project. I have been waiting for this opportunity for a very long time, and having now reviewed the draft EIS, I can see why it has taken so long. You have taken an unnecessarily broad scope and studied each aspect of it to death.
I appreciate the time and effort that must go into creating an environmental impact statement. Coal should not be treated differently than other commodities. The opposition will use the precedent set by these studies to justify why every commodity must study global impacts. This is an abuse of SEPA that was never intended to be used to kill the export of a legal commodity.
