This project must be rejected. As a first responder at the Sagle Fire Statiion, I know that with the addition of 16 extra mile/plus trains, first response times will be negatively affected. We already have to wait on occasions for the trains to pass before we can access patients. We are talking about losing patients who might have been able to gain access to local hospitals, effectively killing the patients. I was raised in Pennsylvania where homes were heated with coal. Poison gasses are given off from the burning of this coal and adds to the hydrocarbon count, which is too high already. If we ship coal to foreign countries, their pollution management will not be as thorough as in the U.S. The jet stream will deliver this poison to the U.S. with all of the filth derived from coal burning, if it is burned in China. Common sense dictates that you do not allow the bulk terminals to be constructed. Jobs will be created, but the price for these new jobs will be a quicker end of the Earth. Oceans are in disarray, huge plastic islands have been created in the ocean, we are losing animals and plants at a frightening pace, and this project will help speed the death of Planet Earth. This cannot be allowed, just for the jobs that might be created. Sincerely, Jim Corcoran Sagle, Idaho
